At the YMCA we believe your child should have a safe, fun & nurturing environment to come to everyday. It is our goal to stimulate your child's mind through various activities that will help develop their creativity, self-esteem and instill character development values such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The Carlson MetroCenter YMCA offers before and after school care for kids in grades K-5. Trained staff will supervise children in activities including arts & crafts, structured play, homework, and snack time.
We also offer excellent school year programs for your school age children including Wrap Around Kindergarten and Before & After School Care. Fun Clubs are offered during days off from school (following the Rochester City School District Calendar) and for Schools Closed for Snow Days (based on the Rochester City School District) as an extension to our Child Care Program.
