TITLE:  	Swim Instructor

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Aquatic Staff Associate, the swim instructor will conduct swimming classes in accordance with the 
National YMCA Swimming Program and Guidelines.  The swim instructor will supervise children, youth and adults.  The swim 
instructor will know and ensure that all rules of health and safety are enforced.  The swim instructor will maintain current 
certifications to function as a swim instructor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The minimum age requirement for this position is 16 years of age.  The applicant must have a current CPR certification and be 
able to work effectively with diverse populations.  The position requires an individual who is responsible, reliable, and 
dependable.  

WAGE RANGE:  		$8.00 - $10.00
GRADE:  			4
