TITLE:	Groundskeeper

General Function:
Under the general direction of the Buildings & Grounds Director, the Groundskeeper maintains the property and grounds of the 
camp.  The Groundskeeper will plant and maintain walkways, flowerbeds, shrubs, trees, lawns, and fields with power and hand and 
power tools.  Repairs and cleans tools and performs ground maintenance duties using a tractors, mowers, trailers and 
attachments. Makes minor repairs and maintains tools, equipment and performs a variety of manual tasks.  

Qualifications:
The candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.  The 
candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team environment and have the ability to multitask.  Member service 
skills are critical in working with members, staff, and the general public.  Physical requirements include the ability to 
remain standing and walking for extended periods and be able to lift/carry/move up to 25 pounds.  Must be able to work well in 
a busy atmosphere and complete assignments in a timely manner. Must be familiar with tools and equipment that support the 
maintenance of the grounds.

WAGE RANGE:	$7.50 - $8.50
GRADE:		4
