TITLE:	Maintenance & Housekeeping Coordinator (35+ hours per week)

General Function:
Under the general direction of the Buildings & Grounds Director, the Maintenance & Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for 
coordinating staff, ensuring cleanliness, safety and the general maintenance of the interior and exterior of facilities.  The 
Maintenance & Housekeeping Lead may serve as designee to assist in shift assignments, interact with other departments and set 
up for meetings or special events.  In addition, the Maintenance & Housekeeping Lead will coordinate daily housekeeping and 
maintenance operations, work schedules and training of maintenance staff under the guidance of the Building & Grounds Director. 

Qualifications:
The candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience, be 
dependable and have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with staff and members.  The candidate must possess a valid NYS 
Drivers License, previous experience with custodial responsibilities and supervisory skills.  The candidate must also have the 
ability to operate maintenance equipment such as floor machines, propane buffer, tractor, snow blower, Kaivak system, and have 
a general knowledge of building mechanics, operations and equipment maintenance.  Physical requirements include the ability to 
remain standing and walking for extended periods and be able to lift/carry/move up to 25 pounds.  Must be able to work well in 
a busy atmosphere and complete assignments in a timely manner.  

WAGE RANGE:	$9.50 - $10.50
GRADE:		10
