TITLE:	Child Watch Coordinator - Part Time

BRANCH:	Westside Family YMCA

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director, it is the responsibility of the incumbent to carry 
out the overall purpose, goals, and objectives of the YMCA of Greater Rochester.  The incumbent will supervise 
children enrolled in the Child Watch/Adventure 
Center service and ensure a safe and pleasant environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.   Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
2.   Have experience working with children under 13 years of age.
3.   Bring to this position maturity, responsibility, and a sincere interest in working with people.
4.   Have very strong interpersonal and organization skills.
5.   Possess a general knowledge and understanding of the YMCA, its goals, and its mission.
6.   Have a thorough knowledge of the YMCA's "development of the individual" through
      spirit, mind, and body.
7.   Have appropriate knowledge of field through experience and/or education.
8.   Have a sincere interest in providing a safe, fun, and educational experience for children.
9.   Must be certified in Adult and Infant/Child CPR, AED, and First Aid.
10.  Attend New Staff Orientation within 30 days of hire.
 

WAGE RANGE:	$6.75 - $8.24 per hour
