General Function:
Under the direction of the Aquatic Staff Associate, a lifeguard will uphold the rules and the guidelines of the pool to ensure 
the safest environment for all members.  A lifeguard must have current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and 
Lifeguard Certifications and demonstrate skills in accordance with YMCA of Greater Rochester standards. 

Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum age of 16 years, and the applicant must have current aquatic certifications.  The applicant 
must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills working with diverse populations, be responsible, reliable, and dependable.   

WAGE RANGE:  	$7.40 - $8.00
GRADE:  		4
