Teen Programs at Monroe

Teen City at the Monroe Family is a safe environment for youth to engage in a variety of activities for personal growth. The facilities include a computer lab, air hockey, ping pong, study area, TV, stereo, snack shack and table games.

Leaders Club

Join us on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm during the school year for YMCA Leaders Club. Our mission is to create, enhance, and strengthen sound values and character in our teens. After an initial character development discussion and review of current events, our planned schedule will include time to discuss upcoming activities, guest speakers, creative activities, and field trips. We will visit area colleges, businesses, sports facilities and other social outings. Volunteer efforts within the Y and our community will be a major focus of this group. The program includes the opportunity to take part in Teen Rallies throughout the Northeast and YMCA Leaders School, a week long summer leadership conference.

Teen & Adult Basketball

Basketball is offered during the week. Teams are divided as players arrive and all games are recreational.
