It's one of the main attractions for kids at the Bay View YMCA on Bay Road in Webster.

Firefighters say a fire at 40 foot climbing tower at the Bay View YMCA was intentionally set on Sunday morning.

The tower was built in 2008, had five sides and a zip line that ran down from the top.

Now charred poles are all that's left of the huge structure.

Jen Lesinski of the Greater Rochester YMCA tells us the 911 call for the fire came in at about 3 a.m. this morning. Fire Fighters were able to put it out quickly and no one was hurt.

Summer camp went on as scheduled Monday.

The Y hopes to rebuild the climbing tower. If you would like to donate to the cause please go to http://www.rochesterymca.org/rebuild.
