A fire destroyed the rock climbing tower at YMCA's Camp Bay View just a day before summer campers arrive.
The fire broke out early Sunday morning at the Penfield facility. It was limited to a small area. No one was injured. Hundreds of campers started their camp program Monday. The YMCA says it will remain focused on the campers and providing them with all that Camp Bay View has to offer.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The YMCA would like to rebuild the tower.
