Volunteer at the Victor Family YMCA!
Volunteers at the Victor Branch contribute thousands of hours each year helping the YMCA build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Whether you want to help people improve their overall health, support children and youth as they grow into adults, create a welcoming environment or simply make a difference in someone's life, the Victor Branch has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to match your passion, skills and schedule:
Volunteers are needed for a number of programs, including youth sports coaches, Wellness Center assistants, facility tour guides, child care volunteers and special event coordinators.
Support volunteers:
Work in the office, Member Service Center or around the grounds.
Fundraising volunteers:
Raise funds for our campaigns (annual, capital, special or sustaining); work on endowment development; or work at/run special events.
Policy volunteers:
Serve on the Board of Management, and help to guide the programs and services at the Eastside Branch. Boards of Management are further divided into committee groups, which focus on finance, membership, marketing, financial development, program development and property/facility management.
Ambassadors Club:
The Ambassadors Club’s main focus is to help build relationships with members through participation and communication. Our Ambassadors serve as advocates in the community, and often assist with facility tours, serve as greeters and help with special events.
Benefits of Volunteering:
Volunteering is more than just sharing your time and passion, it's about the satisfaction of knowing you are helping people become stronger, giving back to your community and gaining valuable work experience that will enhance your career opportunities.
