Resident Camps There's Something For Everyone At Resident Camps!!!!  The YMCA of greater Rochester has two Resident Camps that are available year round. For detailed information about our two camps please visit the Camp Cory and Camp Gorham web sites. Youth One and two week sessions are offered with a variety of activities and experiences. Enjoy activities like archery, nature, arts & crafts, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, campfires, skits and much more. Camp Cory also offers specialties in sailing and water-skiing. Camp Gorham offers specialties in horseback riding and water-skiing. Youth ages 7 - 15 are welcome. Teens Wilderness trips and Leadership Training programs....For those looking for a little more adventure we have tripping programs that include backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, and mountain biking. In a two-week session at Camp Gorham enjoy either a five-day or nine-day wilderness adventure. For those who have completed the 10th grade we have two- and four-week Leadership Training programs. Develop your leadership skills and make new friends. Families Bring the entire family for special camping programs designed to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. Enjoy our regular camp activities and much more while making friends and renewing family connections. Housing, meals, and recreational activities are included in the cost. All ages and families are welcome. Seniors Camping for the Young at Heart... Join us for a five-day camping experience filled with fun and fellowship. Field trips, fitness classes, crafts, devotions, campfires and skits are just a few of the options during your time at camp. Offered at Camp Gorham in the fall. Adults age 50 and over welcome. The Rest Of The Year School, church and community groups are welcome at our sites throughout the year. Whether you are looking to build a team or just get away for a weekend retreat of fun and fellowship, we are ready to work with you to design a program that will meet the needs of your particular group.
