Teen and Tween Programs at Westside

Fall I 2010 Programs

Our goal is to provide quality Teen programming that will have a positive impact in these four main areas: personal growth, leadership training, service to others and social development. Programs and special events at the Westside YMCA Branch include:

LEADERS CLUB

(12+ yrs) Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm. Teens, come join our Leaders Club for a chance to make a positive impact on yourself, your peers, and your community. The mission of the Club is to create and enhance the YMCA core values and character development through activities such as teambuilding games, program planning, community service projects and volunteer opportunities. Members of the club will also receive a chance to take part in Leaders Rallies across the Northeast Region and Leaders School, a weeklong summer leadership conference at the beautiful Silver Bay Resort on Lake George.

JR LEADERS CLUB

( 9-12 yrs) Tuesdays 6:15-7:00. Jr. Leaders Club is a program designed for “Tweens” who are willing to make a positive impact on themselves and the community. The club will engage in teambuilding activities, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising while growing in mind, body, and spirit.
